Family Dentistry for the Uninsured or UnderinsuredJuly 13, 2022 11:52 am
Have you ever stopped yourself from getting the dental treatment you need because of financial reasons? Unfortunately, not everyone has the benefit of dental insurance, and even some patients who do aren’t able to get the kind of extensive coverage they need to make certain dental procedures work with their budget. The good news is that being uninsured or underinsured doesn’t automatically mean that high-quality care at the dentist is out of reach.
An Alternative to Dental Insurance
While dental insurance is one possible way to lower your dental care costs, it’s not the only one. In-house dental membership plans, which are sometimes called dental savers plans, can be a good option for many patients.
Have you found a dental practice you like that offers a membership plan? If you enroll in their plan, you can immediately start enjoying the covered benefits. Those benefits often include preventive care at no additional cost as well as a significant discount on other treatments. In general, there are no annual maximums, pre-existing condition limitations, deductibles, claims, or other hassles of traditional insurance. This is because it isn’t insurance.
Our In-House Membership Plan
At Toothfairy Adult and Kids Dentist, we offer an in-house dental membership plan as one of our financial options. By enrolling in our in-house plan, you’ll receive two routine cleanings, dental exams, and necessary X-rays that year at no additional cost. You’ll also receive access to 20% off other services. Whether or not you end up needing other services, such as a dental crown or root canal therapy, your membership basically pays for itself just by you coming in for your routine, semiannual visits!
We also accept financing through CareCredit®. This splits your dental expenses into manageable monthly payments. It can be used for your other healthcare expenses as well!
